The East Moline Fire Department is requesting bids for a new triple combination pumper, find specifications under related documents.

These specifications were developed based on Pierce triple combination pumper that we currently have in our fleet.  As such, a Pierce company distributor assisted in the development of this specification.  

The City of East Moline is open to and will review bids from all manufacturers submitting bids that are substantially like the published “Pierce” specification.   These bids shall have well documented exceptions.

The City of East Moline may reject any bid for any reason (without cause) and further has sole discretion to select any proposal the Fire Chief determines in the best interest of the fire department and City of East Moline.

All bids must be received by the East Moline Fire Department no later than 9:00 AM on November 6, 2023.

Bids shall be in sealed package marked “Fire Truck Bid”.

Bids will be opened at 9:15 AM and the bid price will be read out at the address above.

The Fire Chief at his discretion may select certain bidders to schedule a presentation of their bids to the department’s truck committee.
