JULY 3-7 IN EAST MOLINE
East Moline is THE place to be in the Quad Cities on Fourth of July weekend. From fireworks to parades, live music and festivals, we can’t wait to show everyone what we mean when we say that East Moline is “A Welcome Difference!”
Wednesday, July 3
Fireworks in the Quarter MOVED!
Location: The Bend - On the Riverfront
Time: Fireworks at Dusk, Shuttle service starts from John Deere Harvester Works at 6:30 p.m. PLEASE utilize the shuttle service as the parking is limited at the Bend.

- Presentation of Colors by R.I. Arsenal; Army Sustainment Command Soldiers
- Live Music: East Moline's Own - "Back in the Day"
- Children’s Carnival that will include a free bounce house, games for 25¢ tickets, face painting, a balloon artist and fun with bubbles (2 tickets)
- Food and drinks

Cory Chisel + Friends Salute Tom Petty | Concert
Location: The Rust Belt (533 12th Ave)
Time: 6 – 9 p.m.

Thursday, July 4
Firecracker Run
Location: 733 15th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244
Time: 7:30 – 10:30 a.m.
The annual 4th of July Firecracker Run begins at 7:30 a.m. Options include: 5K run/walk, 10K run or relay, Kiddie Run, 1-mile, and Hospital Bed Races. Concessions and live bands line the route. Learn more.
EMFD Pancake Breakfast
Location - American Legion - 829 16th Avenue, East Moline, IL 61244
Time - 6:30 - 11:00 AM
East Moline Firefighters prepare pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy to support MDA - Adults $5.00, Kids $3.00
61st Annual AMVETS 4th of July Parade
Location: Along 15th Ave from 13th to 3rd Street
Time: 1 p.m.
This year’s parade theme is “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave…Super Heroes” Registration until June 28, late registration possible by calling 309-752-1599. – Staging takes place on 14th Avenue this year instead of JD Harvester Works.
Friday, July 5
Blues Fest
Location: Murphy Park at The Bend
Time: 5 – 11:30 p.m. (gates open at 4 p.m.)
We’re excited to welcome the two-day blues festival to East Moline. A total of 15 bands will play over the course of the festival on two stages. Friday’s performers include Hal Reed & Mississippi Journey and Blues Rock-It. For more details, visit the Blues Fest website.
Saturday, July 6
Blues Fest
Location: Murphy Park at The Bend
Time: 1 – 10:30 p.m. (gates open at noon)

Sunday, July 7
Music in the Park Summer Concert Series
Location: Runner’s Park (742 15th Ave)
Time: 4-8 p.m.
Wrap up the weekend by listening to 50 Shades of Rock perform at Runner’s Park.
