East Moline, IL is located on the western bank of the Mississippi River bordering the State of Iowa. East Moline is part of the metropolitan area known as the "Quad Cities." East Moline Police Department is a professional organization of 40 sworn officers and 11 civilian employees. We are a full service police department that provides quality police services to a diverse community.
The members of the East Moline Police Department are committed to serving the needs of the community through quality police services. We, with the cooperation of the community, strive to achieve excellence, improve the quality of life, maintain order, and reduce crime. We are dedicated to upholding the constitution and laws of the United States, the State of Illinois and the City of East Moline.
I was appointed and sworn in as Chief of Police on May 17, 2004. I am a graduate of United Township High School in East Moline and. I have a Bachelor and Master of Arts degree from Western Illinois University in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. I am a graduate of 231st Session of the FBI National Academy.
