The Street and Bridge division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of 120 lane miles of paved or asphalt streets, and 13 miles of alleys.  Snow removal in East Moline is separated into five routes.    SNOW PLOW ROUTES  Route #1 2 large dump trucks with plows and salt spreaders 1 super duty truck with plow and salt spreader 1 pickup with plow 1st Street to 5th Street from 15th Avenue to Avenue of the Cities (42nd Avenue), and Kennedy Drive to Archer Drive south of Avenue of the Cities. Route #2 2 large dump trucks with plow and salt spreader 1 super duty truck with plow and spreader 1 pickup with plow 5th Street to Archer Drive from 15th Avenue to Avenue of the Cities and Archer Drive to 18th Street A from 18th Avenue to 23rd Avenue.   Route #3 2 large dump trucks with plow and salt spreader 1 super duty truck with plow and salt spreader 1 pickup with plow All streets north of R/R tracks, including Cottage Grove, Babcock, Martels and Silvis Heights.  Route #4 2 large dump trucks with plow and salt spreader 1 super duty truck with plow and salt spreader 1 pickup truck with plow Downtown, hills, and main drags.  Route #5 3 pickup trucks with plows Parks sidewalks, ponds, parking lots, Archer Drive sidewalks.
