MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE ON 12/15/2003 ROLL CALL Mayor Moreno called the meeting to order and directed City Clerk Arletta D. Holmes to call the roll. The following Aldermen were present: Helen Heiland, Luis Puentes, Luis Moreno, Carol Doose, Gary Kelley and Crotis Teague. Absent: Alderman Rick Meredith (illness). 7:00p.m. OFFICE FURNITURE BIDS (Bruce Willemarck) Competitive bids for the new furniture were received for the new Maintenance Service Facility. The bids included new desk, files, cabinets, tables chairs ect. The following bids were received from the Companies listed below.
Mr. Lauper requested that a 10% contingency be allowed for any overage or additional equipment that may be needed. A motion was made by Alderman Moreno, seconded by Alderman Kelley, to concur with the recommendation, to accept the low bid of $39,811 from Corporate Express, also allowing a 10% contingency for the purchase of office furnishings and equipment. Upon roll call the following voted in favor: Doose, Kelley, Teague, Heiland, Puentes and Moreno. Motion carried. ADJOURNMENT Minutes taken and submitted by, Arletta D.
