Mission Statement

The Human Resource Coordinator's primary mission is to provide assistance to labor / union employees and management staff.  Safety is an important element in the work place and it is important to make the work environment a safe place for the all city employees by providing education, proper tools and equipment.

The areas of responsibility within the Human Resource Department are:

  • Employee Benefits and Compensation Orientation
  • Employee Relations and Mediation
  • General Management Practices and Policies 
  • Employee Development Training
  • Safety and Risk Management
  • Wellness Program
